Allison Hungate Wood was the Director of Vocal Music and the Theatre teacher at Roslyn High School (2015-2017). Allison comes to the directors chair from the stage, following a solo vocal performance career singing opera, and musical theater. Allison has performed professionally with the Boston lyric Opera, Dicapo Opera Theatre, Opera new England, Utah festival opera, Opera Providence, among others.

Allison received her bachelor of music degree in voice performance from the University of Iowa and her master of education degree In music and music  education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
